NIIT Held Activities to Celebrate the First Water-Sprinkling Festival

Water-Sprinkling Festival in mid-April each year is an important traditional festival in Southeast Asia, similar to the Chinese Lunar New Year. In order to enrich the life of Chinese and foreign students, on April 17th, activities to celebrate the first Water-Sprinkling were held in NIIT.

Party Committee member and Vice President, Lu Bing, head of the Sports Department, faculty from College of International Education, 52 students from Myanmar and international student representatives from other countries, head teacher of international students and related teacher representatives attended the celebration.

Under the leadership of Vice President Lu Bing, teachers together with students watered the tree symbolizing the friendship between China and Myanmar. Vice President Lu Bing expressed the hope that Burma students cherish the precious time to study in China and become messengers of friendship between China and Myanmar in the near future.

Subsequently, the students celebrated the festival in the way of singing and dancing together and the celebration ended in a warm and peaceful atmosphere.
