Educational objectives: This specialty aims to cultivate excellent and innovative technical talents with all-round development of moral, intellectual and physical education, with good professional quality, practical ability, innovation and entrepreneurship awareness, and excellent comprehensive quality, having a good command of the necessary basic scientific and cultural knowledge, and expertise in interior and exterior design, with strong hands-on skills and professional qualification certificates, engaged in the design and construction guidance of interior and exterior environments.
Main courses: Design Sketch and Color, Constitution of Design, Professional Material Collection and Sketching, Principles of Interior Design, Preliminary Design, Art Design Innovation and Practice, 2D Rendering Software, 3D Rendering Software, AUTOCAD, Architectural Drawing, Model Design Innovation and Practice, Office Space Design, Living Space Design Comprehensive Training, Public Space Design Comprehensive Training, Building Outdoor Environment and Public Art Design, Comprehensive Training of Environmental Art Technology and Application Innovation, Decorative Materials and Technology, On-post Practice and Graduating Project.
Employment orientation: Geared to public building decoration and finishing (5011), housing decoration and finishing (5012) and other industries, the graduates can be engaged in interior and exterior environment design, construction guidance and other positions.
Faculty: Among the full-time teachers, we have 1 professor, 5 associate professors, 9 masters. We also have ample part-time teachers from the industry and enterprises. The teaching staff is optimally structured, with reasonable echelon, high proportion of teachers with bi-expertise, and strong teaching and research capabilities.
Experimental and training conditions: At present, we have Environmental Art Materials and Technology Studio, Model Design and Production Studio, Soft Decoration Design Studio, Environmental Art Design Drawing Studio, Landscape Design Studio and Environmental Art Design College-enterprise Cooperation Studio and other professional classrooms and training rooms in the Campus Art Factory.
