Educational objectives: This specialty aims to cultivate high-end technical talents in logistics armed with modern logistics theory and logistics technology, with good professional quality, communication skills and innovation and entrepreneurship capability, geared to large and medium-sized international logistics enterprises, import and export companies, chain logistics enterprises, commercial and trade enterprises and manufacturing enterprises, engaged in procurement and supply, warehousing, transportation and distribution, order processing, information management, etc.
Main courses: Economics, Fundamentals of Accounting, Business Statistics Practice, Modern Logistics Management, Logistics Service Marketing, Purchasing Management, Warehousing and Distribution Practice, Logistics and Transportation Practice, Logistics Information Management, Supply Chain Management, International Trade Practice, International Freight Forwarding, Third Party logistics, logistics System Planning and Design, Logistics Technology Comprehensive Training, Logistics Operation Comprehensive Training, ERP Sand Table Comprehensive Training, Storage and Distribution Program Design and Implementation, On-post Practice and Graduating Project.
Employment orientation: Engaged in the planning and management of procurement, warehousing, distribution, transportation, freight forwarding, order processing, customer service and other positions in various industrial and commercial enterprises, especially large and medium-sized chain distribution centers, warehouse centers, international logistics companies, courier service companies and other units.
Faculty: Among the full-time teachers, we have 2 professors, 6 associate professors; 2 doctors, 6 masters, and 7 teachers with bi-expertise. We have 1 National Huang Yanpei Outstanding Teacher, 1 Teaching Master of National Logistics Vocational Education, 1 Teaching Master of National Light Industry Vocational Education, and 2 backbone teachers of the provincial Qinglan Project. In addition, we have ample part-time teachers from the industry and enterprises.
Experimental and training conditions: We have an in-campus “Logistics Engineering and Management Training Center” of 800 square meters, equipped with Automatic Stereoscopic Warehouse, Digital Assorting System, Jet Surfing Sorter, etc., where the RFID-based IoT system ranks among the best in similar colleges in China; we also have “Logistics Management Comprehensive Training Center”, “ERP Sand Table Experience Center”, and “International Logistics Training Center”, etc., equipped with supply chain management software, and third-party logistics management software. ERP software, international freight forwarding software, cross-border e-commerce software and other software operated by logistics enterprises. As for off-campus training bases, we have established strategic cooperation relations with Jingdong Logistics, SF Express, Suning Yunshang Logistics, Sinotrans (Jiangsu) Branch and other 10 large logistics companies to provide a strong guarantee for off-campus practice and employment of the students.

Main achievements: We have 4+0 undergraduate classes and 3+2 junior college student-to-undergraduate classes. The students won the first and second prizes of Logistics Competition in the National Vocational Students Skills Competition of the Ministry of Education for five consecutive years, and won the first prize of Logistics Competition in Jiangsu Vocational Students Skills Competition for six consecutive times. We organized Senior Seminar of Logistics Engineering and Management Backbone Teachers “with Bi-expertise” of the Ministry of Education or Jiangsu Higher Vocational Colleges for 5 times, and provided logistics faculty training for nearly 200 teachers from more than 100 provincial and domestic higher vocational colleges.
