Length of schooling: 3 years

Educational objectives: To cultivate excellent technical talents with all-round development of moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetics education, with good professional quality, practical ability, and innovation and entrepreneurship awareness, geared to various types of enterprises of civil engineering construction, mastering the expertise of construction engineering management, with strong hands-on skills and operational ability of relevant professional qualifications, capable of fully grasping the basic specialized knowledge of construction engineering technology, construction engineering management, engineering measurement and pricing, understanding the development trend of project management, and engaged in construction project management, construction technology management, engineering supervision and engineering consulting, etc.

Main courses: Construction Engineering Drawing and CAD Drawing, Plane Integral Expression of Structure, Engineering Measurement, Fundamentals of Architectural Mechanics and Structure, Construction Technology, Prefabricated Structure Drawing and Construction, Engineering Project Management, Engineering Economics and Engineering Finance, Engineering Budget and Final Account, Tendering and Bidding and Contract Management, Engineering Quality Inspection and Acceptance, Engineering Supervision, BIM5D Technology and Resource Management, Municipal Gardening Drawing and Budget, Engineering Technology and Cost Software Comprehensive Training, Construction Site Integrated Management Training, On-post Practice and Graduation Design and so on.

Employment orientation: The graduates can be engaged in engineering management and related work in construction investment units, design units, construction general contractors, municipal engineering companies, engineering construction supervision units, engineering cost firms, engineering construction consulting units, and real estate enterprises.

Faculty: Among the full-time teachers, we have 1 professor, 3 associate professors, 1 senior engineer, 4 doctors, 10 masters, and 9 teachers with bi-expertise. The team won the first prize in the National Information-based Competition, the second prize of Scientific and Technological Progress Award of Architectural Society of China, the second prize of Jiangsu Information-based Teaching Design, the second prize of Outstanding Graduation Thesis (Design) of College Students in JiangsuProvince, and the second prize in Jiangsu Vocational Students Skills Competition. We also have more than 10 part-time teachers with senior professional titles or posts from the industry and well-known enterprises.

Experimental and training conditions: We have more than 10 in-campus laboratories, such as Building Surveying Laboratory, Comprehensive Project Management System Training Room, Engineering Cost Training Room, Field Remote Control Synchronous Video Training Room, Real Estate Investment Analysis Training Room, and Green Building Structure Construction Quality Control Training Room, as well as five off-campus training bases such as NT2C Group, Jiangsu Runyu, Jiangsu Zhenhuai Construction and Nanjing Tongzheng Project Management Co., Ltd.

Main employers: The construction general contractors for housing construction engineering, construction general contractors for highway engineering, construction general contractors for municipal public works, etc. with various qualification levels of construction general contractors affiliated to the ministries or local construction general contractors; building decoration, building installation, building curtain wall engineering, landscaping, etc. with various qualification levels of  specialist contractors; engineering supervision enterprises with comprehensive qualification and specialist qualifications at all levels or engineering supervision firms.
