Educational objectives: To cultivate high-quality technical talents with basic theoretical knowledge in aircraft manufacturing technology, capable of sheet metal processing, machining of aircraft components and assembly of aircraft components in the field of aircraft manufacturing, capable of designing aircraft parts technological procedure and technological equipment, capable of aircraft modification, aircraft structure repair, aircraft product quality analysis, aircraft processing equipment operation, maintenance and grassroots production management, etc., with the cultural level and quality, good professional ethics and innovative spirit appropriate to this specialty orientation, engaged in the design, manufacturing, modification and management in the field of aircraft manufacturing.

Main courses: Aeronautical Machinery Drawing, Fundamentals of Aeronautical Mechanical Design, Electrical and Electronic Technology, Aeronautical Mechanical Manufacturing Technology, Aircraft Structure and System, Aircraft Sheet Metal Forming Process, Nondestructive Testing Technology, Fundamentals of CAD/CAM Technology, CAM Technology, NC Machining Technology, NC Machining Training, Aircraft Assembly Technology, Aircraft Sheet Metal Riveting Comprehensive Training, Aircraft Parts Assembly Comprehensive Training, Fitter Training, Turner Training, AND NC Machining Training, etc.

Employment orientation: The graduates areengaged in the processing and production of flight vehicle products, flight vehicle assembly, product quality analysis, operation and maintenance of NC machining equipment, assembly of mechanical products, processing of aviation sheet metal parts in aircraft manufacturing companies or airborne equipment manufacturers; maintenance and repair of aircraft sheet metal parts; sales and after-sales service of aircraft or mechanical products; and production management of aircraft components or mechanical products, etc.

Faculty: Among thefull-time teachers, we have 2 associate professors, 6 doctors, 9 masters, 6 teachers with bi-expertise. Our team members won the second prize of Jiangsu Science and Technology Award in 2017 (ranked fifth), won the silver award of the Geneva Invention Award in 2018, presided over several sub-projects of the National Resource Database, provincial-level teaching reform projects, and provincial key textbooks, and won the title of “Outstanding Party Workers” of colleges in Jiangsu Province. We have ample part-time teachers from the industry and enterprises.
