Employment orientation: Geared to the engineering units in construction industry, the graduates of this specialty, an emerging building intelligent industry, are engaged in the design, installation and debugging, operation management, and maintenance of building network and communication facilities systems, building elevators, building security protection systems, building automatic fire alarm and linkage systems, building equipment control systems, and other intelligent systems; geared to intelligent building products (equipment) enterprises in construction industry, they serve as product (equipment) technical support staff, technical sales engineer, and serve as engineering project manager, pre-sales design engineer, equipment installation and debugging engineer, after-sales technical support engineer, supervising engineer, etc. of building equipment intelligent system integration, building weak electricity engineering, and building fire protection companies in various construction industries; and serve as technical support engineer in various office buildings and hotels, etc.

Faculty: The Building Intelligent Engineering Technology is a brand specialty in JiangsuProvince, and a key construction specialty of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance.
