The new Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) is an international proficiency test of Chinese language for testing the language proficiency of non-native Chinese speakers, and it is held annually at home and abroad. The Ministry of Education of China has its National Committee for HSK and uniformly issues certificates of proficiency in Chinese.
The authority of College of International Education of NIIT organized teaching seminars time and again for related teachers and made respectively HSK-4 and HSK-3 training programs for students during the winter vacation and spare time. Excellent teachers were selected for intensive training of the students with a tutor system. With the joint efforts of both teachers and students, better results were achieved in improving the students’ practical language proficiency, and a solid language foundation has been laid for over 40 students who will soon begin their study of major courses for degree the next semester.
