Launching Ceremony of 2024 "Chinese + TVET" ASEAN Talents Training Program Held in NJUIT

Under the guidance of the Centre for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education, the launching ceremony of 2024 “Chinese + TVET” ASEAN Talents Training Program was held by Jiangsu Education Department, the Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and the University on April 1. This event aims to further strengthen the educational cooperation between China and ASEAN countries and promote the high-quality development of "Chinese + TVET" education. Present at the ceremony were leaders, experts and representatives from the Centre for Language Education and Cooperation, Jiangsu Education Department, the Foreign Affairs Office of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, the embassies and consulates of ASEAN countries, 1254 teacher representatives from ten ASEAN countries including Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei, etc., and teacher representatives from 41 vocational colleges and universities in China. Wu Xuemin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the University, Xie Yonghua, President of the University, attended the event, and Sun Yanfei, Vice President of the University, presided over the ceremony.

Among other speeches by leaders, experts and representatives, President Xie Yonghua delivered a keynote speech entitled "Overview of the Development of Vocational Education in China", introducing the international cooperation and exchange of the University.

Many teachers and students participated in the ceremony in 13 branch venues in Cambodia, Malaysia and other ASEAN countries,
