A Delegation from Hungary's National Vocational Training Center Visited NJUIT

On May 13, a delegation of over 20 people led by Zita Magyar, Director General, and Krisztina Bence, Deputy Director General of Hungary's National Vocational Training Center, paid a visit to our university. Zhai Jinming, Director of the Vocational Education Cooperation Department, and Liu Yuting, Senior Project Officer of the China Education Association for International Exchange, together with Wang Sihao, Co-Chairman, and Wei Wei, Vice Chairman of the EU-China Belt and Road Committee for Culture, Education, Tourism, Economic and Trade Development, accompanied the delegation during the visit. Xie Yonghua, Secretary of the University Party Committee, and Wei Ping, Member of the Standing Committee of the University Party Committee and Vice President, received the guests.The Hungarian vocational education delegation was organized by Hungary's National Vocational Training Center. It included officials in charge of vocational education from the cities of Szeged, Sopron, Kaposvár, Kiskunhalas, Ózd and Szentbenedek, presidents of local vocational colleges, as well as senior management of Hungary's MeOut Group. All participants held in-depth discussions on the characteristics of vocational education in China and Hungary, exchange and cooperation, talent cultivation, teacher and student training, integration of industry and education, and joint development of educational resources.

This visit further consolidated the foundation of vocational education cooperation between our university and Hungary, and injected new impetus into the coordinated international development of vocational education in the two countries. Our university will continue to deepen vocational education cooperation with Hungary and other Central and Eastern European countries, innovate cooperation models and enrich cooperation contents. We will cultivate more high-caliber technical and skilled talents with an international vision, so as to support the Belt and Road Initiative and the internationalization strategy of vocational education.Relevant officials from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Transportation Engineering, School of Computer Science, Software Engineering & Artificial Intelligence, and School of Business and Trade attended the event.
