On April 13, with the guidance and support of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) of the Ministry of Education, our university held the opening ceremony of the Chinese Bridge Program for Thai Students 2026 — Empowering with Chinese, Connecting the Future through Skills.Ms. Benchawon Pokphong, Director of the Cooperation Division under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission, Ministry of Education of Thailand; Tang Jinyue, Program Officer of the Asia-Africa Division, CLEC; Wang Wenhui, Deputy Director of the Europe-Asia Division, Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial People's Government; and Xie Yonghua, Secretary of the University Party Committee, attended the ceremony. The event was presided over by Wei Ping, Member of the Standing Committee of the University Party Committee and Vice President.
In recent years, leveraging its strengths in vocational education, our university has actively promoted the international dissemination of the Chinese + Vocational Skills program. We share high-quality vocational education resources with ASEAN countries to deepen friendship and educational cooperation between China and Thailand. Centered on the theme Empowering with Chinese, Connecting the Future through Skills, this program helps Thai students improve their language proficiency and vocational competencies, contributing vocational education expertise to the building of the China-ASEAN Community with a Shared Future.Representatives from the China-Thailand School of Language and Vocational Education attended the opening ceremony.
