In recent years, our university has forged deep cooperation with ASEAN countries and established a multi-level international cooperation framework featuring joint platform building, joint talent cultivation and resource sharing, achieving fruitful results. We founded China Hua University of Applied Sciences in Cambodia, the first overseas applied university of Chinese vocational education. We also launched Chinese Workshops and Zheng He College in Malaysia. In 2025, we successfully hosted the Jiangsu-ASEAN Education Cooperation Exchange Conference in Cambodia, providing solid talent support for local economic growth and the overseas expansion of Chinese-funded enterprises. As the country’s first international promotion base for Chinese + Vocational Skills, we have continuously launched training programs for outstanding local talents from ASEAN countries, with over 4,000 local personnel trained in total. We have also held multiple China-ASEAN cooperation and dialogue events, drawing more than 4,000 teachers and students from Thailand, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam and other countries. These efforts have advanced the joint development and sharing of vocational education standards and resources, deepened industry-education integration for collaborative talent training, and empowered the building of the China-ASEAN Community with a Shared Future through vocational education.Taking the selection as one of the Top 10 Projects of the China-ASEAN Year of People-to-People and Cultural Exchanges as a new starting point, our university will further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with ASEAN nations in areas including technical and skilled personnel training, joint development of vocational teachers, establishment of credit recognition systems and joint construction of cross-border training bases. We will strive to inject new vitality into educational cooperation between China and ASEAN.
