Mexican University Delegation Visits NJUIT for Closer Practical Cooperation

On March 20, a delegation led by Dr. Fernando León García, Rector of Universidad Tecnológica y Superior de México, and Scott Anthony Venezia Corral, Director of the International Office, visited our university. Xie Yonghua, Secretary of the University Party Committee, received the guests.Based on the previously signed Memorandum of Understanding, the two sides held in-depth discussions on joint discipline and specialty development, as well as faculty and student exchanges. They also exchanged views on future cooperation priorities and implementation plans.Shi Yongjie, First-Level Principal Staff Member of the America and Oceania Division, Foreign Affairs Office of Nanjing Municipal People's Government, together with officials from our University's International Cooperation and Exchange Office, School of Business and Trade, and School of International Education, attended the meeting.

In recent years, our university has actively expanded exchanges and cooperation with countries across the Americas, including the United States, Mexico, Chile, Peru and Ecuador, and carried out programs featuring Chinese Language plus Vocational Skills with local partner institutions.In 2025, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Universidad Tecnológica y Superior de México. This meeting has built a solid exchange platform for the two universities and clarified the orientation and approaches for future cooperation.Going forward, both sides will refine cooperation plans and push ahead with the implementation of all agreed initiatives. Our university will continue to deepen practical cooperation with American countries and further elevate its international influence.
