Xie Yonghua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of our institute (NIIT) led the team to attend the establishment and annual working meeting of the Chinese Council of the China-South Africa Vocational Education Cooperation Alliance held at Changzhou Institute of Information Technology.
At the meeting, our institute was elected as the deputy director-general unit and President Xie Yonghua was elected as the deputy director general. Yu Jie, researcher of Vocational Division of the Ministry of Education, Li Xudong, director of International Department of the Ministry of Education, Du Kewei, director of the Center for Human Exchange between China and Foreign Countries of the Ministry of Education, Chiyu, vice director of Jiangsu Industry and Information Technology Department, and He Xingchu, director of the International Department of Jiangsu Education Department attended the meeting.
President Xie Yonghua of our institute (NIIT) presided over the agenda of policy interpretation and expert report. He also shared the information of cultural exchanges in our institute in the roundtable forum. He introduced the improvement of students' practical ability in the South African students' training program of our institute, as well as the practice of organizing Zambia Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Technology to train local technical staff in order to serve Chinese enterprises.
