The delegation from South East Technological University of Ireland visited our University on March 8. The delegation was comprised of Sinead Day, Director of the International Department, Alan Davy, Dean of the School of Mathematics and Computer Science, Mary Doyle Kent, Dean of the School of Engineering, and Rebecca Zhou, Director of the China Cooperative Programmes Service Centre. President Xie Yonghua and Vice President Sun Yanfei received the guests, and the heads of the relevant departments of International Cooperation and Exchange, the School of Mechanical Engineering, the School of Electrical Engineering, and the School of Computer Science and Software attended the meeting.
President Xie Yonghua welcomed the guests, expressed our willingness to carry out in-depth co-operation with SETU in the fields of specialty co-construction, mutual recognition of credit, academic qualification upgrading, student exchange, faculty training and scientific research upgrading, and so on. Sinead Day thanked the University for its hospitality and hoped to carry out deeper cooperation with the University in education, teaching construction and other aspects.
