Educational objectives: To cultivate excellent technical talents with all-round development of moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetics education, with good professional quality, practical ability and innovation and entrepreneurial awareness, geared to light industry, machinery, electronics, automobile and other automatic manufacturing enterprises, mastering mechanical transmission, electromechanical control, electrics and electronics, detection and sensing, and other basic theories and knowledge related to robots, with strong hands-on ability and robotics professional qualifications, capable of fully mastering electromechanical control technology, industrial robot installation and debugging, industrial robot maintenance and repair, and preliminarily grasping the industrial robot system integration technology, engaged in industrial robot operation and maintenance, industrial robot workstation design and development, industrial robot technical services, and other jobs.

Employment orientation: Geared to light industry, machinery, electronics, automobiles and other automatic manufacturing enterprises, the graduates can be engaged in the installation and debugging of mechanical transmission, electromechanical control, detection and sensing, and other relevant components related to industrial robots; and be engaged in industrial robot operation and maintenance, industrial robot workstation design and development, industrial robot technical services and other positions.
Faculty: Among the full-time teachers, we have 1 professor, 2 associate professors, 4 doctors, 3 masters, and 6 teachers with bi-expertise. We have 1 provincial excellent teaching team of Qinglan Project and one provincial teaching master. The teaching staff is reasonably structured, with high teaching competency and strong scientific research ability. The professional team has ample part-time teachers from the industry and enterprises.

Main achievements: In the past five years, we have built 1 national open online excellent course, 1 provincial open online course, won 2 third prizes in the provincial skills competitions, and obtained 23 authorized patents by both teachers and students.
