Length of schooling: 3 years

Educational objectives: Geared tomassive industrial production, this specialty aims to cultivate high-quality technical talents with scientific literacy, engineering literacy, humanistic literacy and mold design and manufacturing expertise, armed with modern mold digital design, analysis, manufacturing technology and basic skills.

Main courses: We mainly offer Mechanical Drawing, Fundamentals of Mechanical Design, Fundamentals of Mechanical Manufacturing, Mechanical Manufacturing Technology, NC Machining Technology, Mechanical CAD / CAM Technology, Electrical Control and PLC Technology, Mechanical Manufacturing Process, Intelligent Manufacturing Technology, NC Machining Practice and other courses.

Employment orientation: Mainly oriented to mold manufacturing enterprises or mechanical product manufacturers, the graduates are engaged in the design, analysis, manufacture of plastic molds and cold stamping dies, NC machining process planning and manufacturing, product quality management and other technical work.

Faculty: Among the full-time teachers, we have 2 professors, 3 associate professors, 5 doctors, 4 masters, and 7 teachers with bi-expertise. We have 1 national teaching team leader of modern mold manufacturing technology, won 1 second prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award, and 1 third prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Machine Building. We have 1 teaching master in JiangsuProvince, 2 academic leaders of Jiangsu Qinglan Project, with ample part-time teachers from the industry and enterprises.

Experimental and training conditions: We have production equipment synchronous with advanced mold manufacturing enterprises, such as multi-axis NC machining tool, wire cutting machine, EDM machine, slow-feeding wire cutting machine, and coordinate measuring machine, etc.
